Oreo’s Animal Rescue Mission Statement

We are committed to protecting the quality of life and improving the well-being of abused, neglected and unwanted animals through prevention, education, intervention, placement and lifelong care.

We aim to better our community for both people and animals by subscribing to the following objectives:

  • Rescue abandoned/abused pets
  • Nurture, foster, socialize and find worthy homes for adoptable pets that are ready
  • Adhere to a strict spay and neuter policy to prevent the overpopulation of companion animals
  • Assist the Dickinson City Pound in finding homes for unclaimed pets
  • Educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership and population control

Rescue Report

The Companion Dog Outreach Program is for educational events and nursing home visits featuring our companion dog Juneau, a beautiful husky. Juneau loves to meet new people and help educate the community, so please contact us if you would like to schedule a visit with Juneau!
Hundreds of animals are rescued or handed over to our organization every year, and it can take weeks, months or years to find a forever home for these animals. This is why we need your help. The financial burden of supporting these loving pets in the limited facility we have and in foster homes can be staggering. Please help by donating to our organization to provide these animals with the necessary supplies and care they need until they can be placed in a loving home.

Help us with Donation

If you are unable to adopt, please consider helping our cause with a tax-deductable donation to Oreo’s Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization. Suggested donation amounts:

  • $25 – Feeds 2 cats for 4 weeks
  • $50 – Feeds 1 dog for 6 weeks
  • $75 – Vaccinates 10 pets for rabies
  • $150 – Sponsors 10 S.N.I.P. discounts
